Aira is designed to provide AI-powered assistance and tools with minimal data collection. Specifically, we collect:

  • Camera Access: To take pictures within the app when you use the camera feature.
  • Media/Storage Access: To read or save images from your device when uploading or saving content.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, and network status for optimal performance.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous statistics such as app version, features used, and app activity to improve the service.
  • Internet Access: Required to send data to our AI processing servers and APIs. Data and images uploaded for processing are deleted immediately after AI processing.

Note: Aira uses standard React Native and Expo plugins to provide app functionality, such as:

  • expo-image-picker – camera and photo library access

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain AI-powered services.
  • Process requests (e.g., images or text) using AI models temporarily for generating responses.
  • Improve app performance and features based on usage statistics.
  • Ensure app stability and monitor errors or issues.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Images and contextual data uploaded for processing are deleted immediately after AI processing.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Google Gemini) to process requests. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies regarding data handling. We do not share personal user data with other third parties.

Our services are not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
